OUR STORY

We are 'SMILEY BLUE' a two piece upbeat Pop/Rock Duo featuring Lead Vocalist Jenny Alvaro and Lead Guitarist/Lead Vocalist Trev Varri.

We were both successful solo performers, when we teamed up in 2011 to form 'SMILEY BLUE'. Whilst engaged in several long and successful residency contracts at some top quality overseas venues, our style of dynamic upbeat Rock/Pop Party favourite's was attracting many fans, so coupled with thoroughly enjoying performing with each other, we decided to form a more permanent team.

We then went on to complete further contracts at several major 5 Star hotels and clubs, as well as performances at some major International events, and enjoyed being engaged by Emirates Golf Club, to perform at their members New Years Eve Party for 7 consecutive years, we also performed for 5 consecutive years for another major golf club at their annual Awards Gala Dinner.

Jenny is an attractive, versatile and very talented singer with many years of experience fronting International cover 'Showbands', she has a lovely personality and an endearing and fun stage presence, with a vocal range that allows her to deliver terrific versions of songs from a wide range of singing stars, that has ensured her talents are always in demand.

Trev is a lead guitarist /lead vocalist with a smooth, dynamic and blues influenced playing style with a powerful and distinctive singing voice. Trev has accrued a wealth of experience in the music business over many years, taking in support tours with several world class bands including, Thin Lizzy, AC/DC and Dr Feelgood, as well as studio album sessions with other well known recording artists, and recently released two solo pop/dance singles. Trev also formed the very successful and highly regarded 5 piece 'Mirage International Showband' in the UK, successfully completing many major summer seasons for Butlin's and Haven Holidays, as well as many cruises and club tours., Trev also has a zany sense of humour and mischievous on stage personality which quickly and easily connects with any audience.

Overall an evening with 'SMILEY BLUE' is sure to be filled with fun and fine music, with music from the 70's, 80's 90's and 00's, but always something for everyone no matter how old.

We are fully self contained, with a top of the range sound system and a superb lighting rig on a 5.5m goal post truss, in addition, Smiley Blue carries ￡10m of public liability insurance.
